India Vs England 4th Test: India historic win at Wankhede
India on Monday (Dec 12) thrashed England by an innings and 36 runs to win the fourth Test match against here at Wankhede Stadium, and take unassailable 3-0 lead in Anthony De Mello Trophy.
Chasing Indias tricky lead of 231 in the second innings, Alastair Cook-led team were bundled out for 195 and lost third successive match at the hands of Virat Kohli and company.
Indias match-winning bowler Ravichandran Ashwin produced another brilliant performance with the ball as he claimed six-wickets in the second innings.
Aswhin claimed 12 wickets in the match to grab seventh 10-wicket-haul in a match. Ashwin now is behind legendary India bowler Anil Kumble who clinched 10 or more wickets in a Test match on eight occasions. Team Indias charismatic captain Virat Kohli was awarded Man of the Match for his record breaking 235-run-knock.
